BADUNG REGENCY
there are many places of interest in badung
regency such as : Dreamland, tanjung benoa, deluang sari turtle farm, nusa dua, kuta, bali bomb monumen, jimbaran, legian, seminyak, petitenget beach, kedonganan, tanah wuuk, pelaga/petang, sangeh monkey forest, nung-nung waterfall, waka tangga, ayung rifer rafting, uluwatu temple, petitenget temple, sadha temple, and taman ayun temple.
KUTA
9km from denpasar, for its sunset, good for bathing and swimming with its clean white sand kuta is really good to have surfing. kuta is represent one of the tourism object whichvisited by many foreign or domestic tourist. besides there are many hotels, restaurant, pleasants hotspot and mall in kuta. besides as a places for holiday, in kuta also there are many antique shops or art shops.
GROUND ZERO
represents tragedy monument of october 12" 2002 located in legian kuta. this place is founded to remind many dead people caused by terrorists bombing
DREAM LAND BEACH
located in badung regency, well known as a good place of beautiful beach to see sunset. dreamland is also suited for relaxing and playing surfing.
PADANG-PADANG BEACH
located in pecatu village, padang-padang beach is represent the white smooth sandy beach is very suited for playing surfing and witnessing beutiful sunset.
WEST BALI NATIONAL PARK
this park is home to the rare java deer, the rarer bali starling and many other animals such as the boss javanicus, or wild bull.
MEDEWI BEACH
famous for surfing, the long left handers are best in the morning before the wind gets up. the beach itself is not fantastic. tourist accomodation ranges from guesthouses to smarter hotels with pools.
GILIMANUK
bali's most western town is the ferrying point for people wishing to cross to java. the tranquil bay is good for water sports and it is the closest place to stay if you wish to visit west national park.
PALASARI DAM
the dam is good for water sports and the nearby village of palasari is one of the few catholic communities in bali. the church is quite distinctive.
CANDI KUSUMA BEACH
large wide beach with views to java. it is very popular with the local community at weekends and holiday.
BALUK RENING BEACH
this beach come alive in august when the annual jukung races take place. a western facing beach with good sunset views.
PERANCAK
a small village in which bali's renowned buffalo racing is performed for tourist. a reptile park and a riverside temple are other perancak sites.
DELOD BERAWAH BEACH
a popular beach with the occasional bull and horse race.
RAMBUT SIWI
one of bali's major cliff-top temples and the largest in west bali. it was built in the 1500s by the same priest that built both the uluwatu and tanah lot temples. the sunset from this vantage point is out standing.
BUNUT BOLONG
a sacred banyan grows over the road, or rather the road goes through this very large tree, up into the foothills of west bali and towards pupuan. the surrounding area is tropical forest and has many impressive tress.
CEKIK
a village just south of gilimanuk, with prehistoric remains(circa 1000BC). the headquarters of the natonal park and visitors centre are located here.
TIRTA TANGGA
lies 6 km from karangasem, are sting place for kings and before the eruption of mount agung this object was not less in beauty that ujung.
TULAMBEN
lies about 1.5 hours from candidasa 15 minutes from amed towards north. the road has magnificant views over valleys and steep mountains. mount agung gives you breathtaking from the road.
BUKIT JAMBUL
lies 3 km from klungkung is a hill with break taking scenery ant twisted road winding a round the hill with cool air, villa and coffe shops are available as well.
GOA LAWAH
goa lawah (the cave of bats) 46 kilometres from denpasar, at the peak of this cave found a temple by name of "puncak sari". where as inside the cave there are so many bats and once in a wile big snakes are seen eating the bats which a believed they have done something wrong and have to be punished.
BANYUWEDANG
60 km west of singaraja. natural hot springs with supposed curative powers near a temple.
